Gal Gadot and the cast of her upcoming movie Wonder Woman 1984 reunited via Zoom on Thursday (April 2) to celebrate the birthday of Pedro Pascal! Gal, Pedro, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, and director Patty Jenkins were all part of the video call. “Happiest birthday @pascalispunk !! We love you so much! Win Butler, frontman for Canadian rock outfit Arcade Fire, has shared a snippet of a new song on social media. The eight-second clip appeared on Butler’s Instagram stories, and was later re-posted to the Arcade Fire subreddit. The preview features no words, just a few chords of sunny acoustic guitar. R.I.P. Ellis Marsalis, New Orleans Jazz Pianist and Educator Dies at 85

New Orleans jazz pianist and educator Ellis Marsalis has died at the age of 85. The legendary musical patriarch had been hospitalized with COVID-19 symptoms and was awaiting coronavirus test results. Born and raised in New Orleans, Marsalis began playing saxophone before switching to piano during high school. Throughout the 1950s and ’60s, he played with numerous musicians, including Ed Blackwell, Cannonball and Nat Adderley, and Al Hirt. During the same period, he became a member of the Playboy Club’s house band in the French Quarter.
